The birth of the student movement in opposition to the reform of school and university system is one of the most interesting phenomena of the last half century. Faced
to a law that affects the future of new generations, and school and university in a very spontaneous and free student groups, regardless of their political membership have created a trade union that brought the whole of Calabria and throughout Italy a mass mobilization that some time you could not see a sign of political maturity that we young people today have.
The real desire to show their disapproval against those who did not involve the social partners and has not cured the interests of young people in the world has meant that the protest of students was added to the staff depended on the teachers, almost all student youth organizations, the majority of society civil.
Even in the Mediterranean University has led to a mobilization that involved much of the student body, which is important from this point of view is the shareholders' meeting, which included an impressive number of students, which was attended by Rector Mediterranean University Prof Massimo Giovannini and managing director Dr. Romeo Antonio.
The University now needs to be supported and encouraged, it needs a national government that would protect and support the needs of students that would allow the entire South to create the foundations for their future, according to the usual criteria of meritocracy, and I believe that this state of mobilization should be continued, always in a peaceful manner and moderate in order to give an even stronger feeling that the change we want to necessarily move from dialogue and confrontation, the basic principles of a Democratic Governance, University students we do not stop!
